Residents are encouraged to vote for Admiral Kidd Park, which is entered in a contest sponsored by Coca Cola in its Live Positively campaign. The three parks that receive the most votes by Tuesday, September 6, 2011 will be awarded grants ranging from $100,000 to $25,000. The grants must be used to restore, rebuild or enhance places within the park.

Vote on-line at LivePositively.com: Go to "Vote" on the left hand side of the page.
Type "Admiral Kidd Park" in the park same section.
Vote and type in the security letters and numbers to complete the voting process.
Vote as many times as you want between now and Tuesday, September 6, 2011.

Admiral Kidd Park is a 12.29-acre park on the city's Westisde on Santa Fe Avenue, between Hill Street and Willard Street.
