Latin parade entrants, volunteers sought

 The office or Councilman Robert Garcia says participants are still being sought for the Sept. 10 Latin American Parade and Festival downtown.
Here's their invitation for people to apply and attend:
 
 
THIRD ANNUAL LATIN AMERICAN PARADE & FESTIVAL

LOOKING FOR MORE PARADE PARTICIPANTS & VOLUNTEERS!!

JOIN COUNCILMEMBER ROBERT GARCIA IN CELEBRATING LATIN AMERICAN CUISINE, ART, MUSIC AND MORE IN DOWNTOWN LONG BEACH!

WHEN: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH
TIME: 3 PM TO 9 PM
WHERE: PARADE KICKOFF AT 6TH & PINE AVENUE WITH FESTIVAL AT 4TH & PROMENADE (CITY PLACE)

*MARCHING BANDS, DANCE GROUPS, ARTISTS, SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY GROUPS WELCOME!!
