They have staged community events, learned how to marshal resources, been taught about conflict resolution and community organizing. And now before they take their newfound skills out into the community, there's one bit of business remaining.
The Neighborhood Leadership Program Class of 2011 will graduate Saturday, August 20 at the Main Branch of the Long Beach Public Library, 101 Pacific Avenue.
The graduation ceremony begins at 1 p.m., with a reception to follow at 3 p.m.
