The popular Restoration Trade Fair returns to Luther Burbank School for its fourth year Sunday, Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event has grown in scope and popularity each year.  Initially the event served as a place where owners of historic homes could gather and talk about products and making alterations and upgrades to their homes that were historically correct and conformed with city guidelines for homes in historic districts.

It has since morphed into a a one-stop resource with more than 50 specialty vendors and exhibitors and non-profit, city, heritage, historic and community groups on hand. Local vendors and artisans offering services and consulting in a variety of areas, including landscaping and nursery resources, interior/exterior design, flooring, painting and finishing, and more. The Trade Fair will have restoration specialists to help you figure out how to start a project, so bring photos of your home with a list of questions.
  There will also be
demonstrations and workshops on window glazing, blacksmithing, mosaics and basket weaving. A WWII documentary about Long Beach "Long Days Working Hard" will be aired and there will be a silent auction.
  The event
is a fundraiser for the nonprofit Rose Park Neighborhood Association (RPNA), it is Free to RPNA members and children under 18; $5 for all others.

Information is available at www.rpna-tradefair.org and Facebook 'Restoration Trade Fair'.
