Community members are encouraged to participate in a community clean-up Saturday in the 1300 block of E. 17th Street from 8 to 11 a.m.
The event, sponsored by the Antioch Youth Ministry, the Neighborhood Services Bureau and Councilman Dee Andrews, will embark from 1304 E. 17th Street.
Rakes, shovels, trash bags and gloves will be provided. Community service hours are available. Information is available by calling Andrews' office at 562-570-6816.
