Family members looking for missing Ontario boy
ONTARIO -- A 14-year-old boy has been missing since Monday evening, according to family members.
Donavin James Katalinich was wearing a blue and white shirt and tight jeans between 3 and 4 p.m. Monday when he was last seen at Ontario High School.
He did not show up for a tutoring lesson or return home, his mother Ruth Victoria Gonzalez said.
Donavin is 5-foot-1, weighs between 80 and 120 pounds and has thick sandy brown hair down to his eyes.
He has brown eyes as well as tan skin and a scar on his left ear from an earring, his mother Ruth Victoria Gonzalez said.
For the past couple of months, Donavin has been living with his father near Philadelphia Street and Euclid Avenue in Ontario, Gonzalez said.
Gonzalez resides in Utah as well as Arizona.
Donavin might be trying to return to either one of the residences, his mother said.
About a month ago, Donavin tried running away from home once before.
But, Gonzalez said, this time she is worried.
"It's not normal for him to be gone this long," she said. "This is not like my son."
The family is offering a reward for Donavin's return, Gonzalez said.
Anyone with information about Donavin's whereabouts, can call his family at (480) 334-5487 or (951) 830-1151.
