Sheriff's deputies tracked down four people who broke into the Ashwood Golf Club this week and damaged the course after finding one of the suspect's identification in a golf cart.

San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies were summoned to the golf club at 10885 Apple Valley Road around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday because the suspects drove golf carts onto the course, causing $2,000 in damage.

Israel Avalos, 21, of Hesperia left his identification in one of the carts, deputies said. He was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism and booked into the Victor Valley jail.

Eddy Santos, 22, of Long Beach and two 17-year-old Hesperia boys turned themselves in and were arrested on the same charge.
