Lake Arrowhead fire burns two homes

| | Comments (0) |

A blaze that broke out in Lake Arrowhead late Thursday was contained at two acres, though it burned one house and partially damaged a second.

Several firefighters immediately responded to the 8:30 p.m. fire at 750 Holmes Court. A second-alarm was called on the blaze, which started as a house fire and quickly spread into surrounding vegetation.

The Ivy Fire was under control within a half hour. The California Highway Patrol evacuated 10 homes in the neighborhood as the blaze burned.
