A 28-year-old Ontario man was robbed at gunpoint Sunday afternoon at Slover and Etiwanda avenues, officials said.

As the man was walking, a black Honda Accord stopped next to him, and a man with a handgun got out of the car and asked the man to hand over his possessions, according to a Fontana Police news release.

The victim handed over his wallet and cell phone. The man who robbed him then got back in the car, driven by a woman. Then the car took off.

The suspect who got out of the car was described as 5-foot, 8-inches tall, weighing 165 pounds, wearing dark clothing and between 22 and 24 years old.
