Fire officials said the Foxborough Fire was at 80 percent containment as of 4 p.m. today.

All evacuations were lifted and the two schools that were closed will be open Thursday, said Pam Bierce, public information for the USDA Forest Service.

"Good progress was made on the fire today," she said.

The fire started about 12:45 this morning and burned 250 acres of brush and grass. It started north of the 210 Freeway and burned above the Hunter's Ridge community.

About 60 fire personnel will work on the fire tonight and patrol the area.
