Schools in Diamond Bar and the Chino Valley will be closed today due to poor air quality from the Triangle Complex Fire.

Administrators from the Walnut Valley Unified School district decided to cancel classes and after school activities today because of heavy smoke in the area. The Funshine Preschool and Childcare program was also canceled, according to the district's website, http://www.walnutvalley.k12.ca.us/.

Chino Valley Unified School District also cancelled classes due to the smoke from the Orange County blaze that pushed toward Diamond Bar and Chino Hills on Sunday.

Classes in the Chino Valley and Walnut Unified were expected to resume Tuesday.
