Here are the final results for the Colton elections:

Colton City Council

District 3: Vincent Yzaguirre: WINNER with 49.61 percent

Jeremy Baca: 28.35 percent

John Anaya: 22.05 percent

District 5: Deirdre Bennett: WINNER with 52.21 percent

John Mitchell: 39.50 percent

Robert Wilson: 8.29 percent

District 6: Alex Perez: WINNER with 52.29 percent

Isaac Suchil: 47.71 percent

City Clerk: Eileen C. Gomez: WINNER 41.22 percent

Carolina Padilla: 35.35 percent

Kirk Larsen: 23.43 percent

City Treasurer Aurelio De La Torre ran unopposed

Colton Joint Unified School District Measure G bond initiative: PASSED with 73.33 percent yes, 26.67 percent no

Colton Joint Unified School District Board of Education, with 83 out of 83 precincts reporting

Trustee Area 1

Patricia Haro: WINNER with 40.34 percent

Paul Russell: 34.19 percent

Mark Hoover: 25.47 percent

Trustee Area 2

Kent Taylor: WINNER with 53.88 percent

Todd Housley: 46.12 percent

I have a question do you know how a write in candidate's votes are counted and when their results will show up? I know that there is a write in candidate for the 6th district in Colton.
