Milwaukee Brewers' outfielder in town to raise funds for Cops 'N' Jocks

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Corey Hart will be in Victorville on Saturday to sign autographs as a fundraiser for local athletics programs.

Hart, who used to play for the High Desert Mavericks, will be at Fanzz in the Mall of Victor Valley from noon to 3 p.m. signing photographs and baseballs.

corey hart.jpgAll proceeds will go to the Cops 'N' Jocks program, which partners law enforcement officers with students at Victor Valley and Silverado high schools.

Hart spent most of the 2002 baseball season with the High Desert Mavericks were he batted .288, hit 22 home runs and had 84 RBIs. 

This year, Hart batted .260, had 20 homers and 91 RBI's playing for the Brewers.
