Pedestrian struck, injured by vehicle in Hesperia

A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Thursday night.

The person was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs after being struck at Escondido Avenue and Main Street at 8:30 p.m., San Bernardino County firefighters said. No further details were available.
