Adams votes against budget bill:
[Assemblyman Anthony Adams, R-Claremont, voted last week against a special session budget plan that would have raised taxes by $24 billion over five years, according to a statement from his office.

"With the holiday season approaching, Californians shouldn't have to choose between putting presents under the tree and giving more of their hard-earned money to Sacramento."
Adams voted against the plan because he did not believe it provided a realistic to address the state's $11.2 billion budget shortfall.
Adams represents the 59th Assembly District, which includes Hesperia, Apple Valley, Claremont, La Verne, north San Bernardino, Highland, Redlands and parts of the San Gabriel Valley.

Quote of the week:
"To fix the budget, we must have a healthy economy, not focus solely on raising taxes. I'm calling on the governor to use provisions under Proposition 58 when the new Legislature is sworn in next week and to have the focus only on legislation that will stimulate the economy and fix California's budget. All other legislation needs to be delayed until we can once and for all get our fiscal house in order."
-- State Sen. Bob Dutton, R-Rancho Cucamonga, who represents the 31st District, which stretches from Upland to Yucca Valley. Under Proposition 58, if the governor determines that the state is facing a substantial revenue shortfall, he may declare a fiscal emergency.

Hacking denocracy
Our votes needs to count and paper ballots and precinct talling is our only way out.
We need to elelct the reg of voters by the people not appointed by a board who has a interest in how things turn out.
The only electronic devises we need when tallying the votee are adding machines or fax machines.
