Ontario police officers will conduct a DUI checkpoint in the city Friday.

The checkpoint will be from 6 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday at an undisclosed location, according to a police news release.

During the checkpoint, police officers will focus on impaired drivers and enforce traffic laws.

The funding for this checkpoint was provided by a grant from the state Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
