Victim of fatal Adelanto stabbing identified

A developmentally disabled man who was stabbed to death at an assisted-living facility in Adelanto on Tuesday has been identified as a 51-year-old Adelanto resident.

William Rush Pennington was pronounced dead in the 10300 block of Butte Street at 6:23 p.m., San Bernardino County coroner's officials said.
