Chris in OC said:

It was a good shake here in south Orange County (RSM), but not enough to knock anything over.

Leo from San Berdo said:

Dave from Wrightwood, did you fall off the bed?

Anonymous said:

1 mile south of SB. That would be the fault right under the 10/215 freeways.

Kesha said:

Nice size. It felt strong from the second story. A lot of swaying.

joe b said:

Heard it first (a noisy roll) and then a quick jolt here in Rancho C. My daughter ran around the house for a while and is still a bit upset.

peggy said:

Plese...I hope no more!!

Mike said:

Barely felt it in Van Nuys; I was in bed reading and felt a slight shake which got a little stronger and lasted for about 7 seconds total.

Hope there's not too much damage SanBerdoo.

JCK said:

Felt a quick jolt, then a longer roll for a few seconds which rattled the windows. Nothing fell over though. Located in Beaumont, 22 miles from epicenter in S.B.

Jessica said:

Really felt it here in San Bernardino. Pictures fell off the TV stand. Really hard shake.

Melanie said:

Felt it in Barstow!

ricktrap said:

Just a jolt here in Big Bear....felt like a typical 3.0 for our neighborhood. All's well.....expect a couple of respectable aftershocks from a 5.0'er.

bob said:

Felt it here in Kansas City. Biiiiig

Tim said:

Shook the apartment in W Hollywood, near Hollywood sign

Jim said:

Jessica, that was a great orgasm.

Mary-Justine said:

It was rockin and rollin here in Lake Arrowhead. There was a first rumble across the roof, then a second, much bigger rumble. Loud and lots of shaking. The cats are freaking out.

Jean Ceasar said:

OMG It last so long, it makes you wonder if the big one really coming soon. We are at our 100 year mark. All I could say is be ready and prepare.

Wayne said:

Felt a slight jolt here in Palm Desert ... about 70 miles east.

Dave said:

No, too early for bed!! Bowl game on! My dog liked it though. Felt the floor move upward and them wham, pretty good shake. Nice sound too. I'd give it a 5. We have had better, right here on the fault line.

Scott said:

Hey,

By the way, you're all morons for living on a fault line.

I felt it in San Diego as well. Judging by the location, I peg it on the San Jacinto Fault, a major branch of the San Andreas Fault. Hopefully, this was a mainshock, not a foreshock. That fault is capable of leveling most of the Inland Empire with a 7+.

ray said:

from southwest ontario,it wasn't bad,lasted about 3 secs

boohoo said:

From Crestline, Cat went running and it wasn't because of a ball rolling along the floor. Really scary.

Anonymous said:

Pretty good jolt in Victorville. Even scared the dogs!

Stefanie K. said:

Rocked it down on Coronado island!

Dave said:

Living on the fault line is for the brave of heart! Besides if California ever slips into the ocean like they have said for years. I will have ocean front property, kind of an investment :)

pamela said:

"That was awesome!!!!!!" said my young daughter. Here in San Timoteo Canyon in Redlands, it shook our walls and rolled under us.

PH said:

upla said:

Felt a decent size roller for a few seconds in Sant Monica

JCnDeHus said:

Ken said:

Nice little shaker in Redlands, around 6 miles east of the epicenter...lasted around 30 secs, moderate rolling, not violent...surprised it was a 5.0!

kristin said:

Felt a pretty good shake here in Laguna Beach too! Not as strong as the one I experienced in Seattle in 2000 but it made my heart skip a beat!
