It has been a while since we got a quake in January. Maybe it was an aftershock of the one that hit Costa Rica!!!!

Just a jolt here in Big Bear....felt like a typical 3.0 for our neighborhood. All's well.....expect a couple of respectable aftershocks from a 5.0'er.

Felt it here in Victorville.

I was working under my car, the jack slipped and the car fell on me. I got mad, turned green and threw it off me a good 10 feet. It landed on an old man riding his power scooter. I had no more strength left to lift off him. No lie!

It really jolted our house here in san bernardino. My little girls and I were really shook up. I think that was the scariest earthquake I have been in.

Nice shake here in Rancho Cucamonga. Felt it really bouncing around upstairs! Went on for quite awhile, too. That was NOT FUN.

Felt the "earthquake roll" out here just east of Santa Monica / Venice, some 65 miles west of the epicenter.

Good reminder to stay prepared for the big one, which can hit at any time. Are you ready?

Just a little rumble here in Palm Springs. We don't get these on the East coast. Fun stuff!

Kathie M said:

We are camped in our motorhome at Lake Cahuilla in La Quinta. There was one big jolt that felt like the jacks shifted. Then rock and roll from side to side for a few seconds. Nice ride.

Kathie M said:

Felt in La Quinta at 7:50 tonight.

JRD said:

KCAL is the only station broadcasting anything on the quake. An hour after the quake nothing from CBS, NBC, KTLA, ABC, KTTV and KCOP - What;s wrong with these "people" - guess San Bernardino just doesn't count!

My girlfriend felt it while cooking dinner in Hollywood

Our group was practicing hula in in the garage in Colton close to Montecito Cemetery when we heard rumbling and then it started shaking side to side. The mirror looked like it was vibrating. We stopped right away and headed for the door. It was scary since most of us are not from California. It kinda made us dizzy for a little bit too.
