Dog obedience classes offered in Yucca Valley

Dog Obedience training classes are being held from 6 to 7 p.m. Fridays beginning May 1 at the Yucca Valley Community Center, 57090 Twentynine Palms Highway.

The first session will be for dog owners only and will give an overview of the class.

The next five weeks will cover heel and sit, sit/stay, down/stay and come. Reviews are held each week.

Registration is $100 for six weeks of training, and each participant needs to have their dog on a leash and collar.

maybe they can teach the dogs to tell their owners to put their leash on them while out among the public,in obeyance of the leash law.
