UPDATE: Man killed in Barstow semi truck crash identified

Coroner's officials identified a man killed in a 15 Freeway crash as a 22-year-old resident of Hodge, a community near Barstow.

Justin George Ervin died at the scene on the southbound 15 north of Barstow Road. He crashed a 2007 Subaru-STI into the back of a slower moving tractor trailer at 10:40 p.m.

San Bernardino County coroner's officials said Ervin was wearing a seatbelt and was not thrown from the vehicle.
