The incident was reported at 9:02 p.m. on Reche Canyon Road just north of Smiley Boulevard in an unincorporated area just north of Moreno Valley, the California Highway Patrol said.

It was unknown if the boy, a Rialto resident, was driving or was a passenger in the Polaris ATV.

The victims -- three Rialto men and two San Bernardino men -- were taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment. Their wounds did not appear to be life-threatening, said Rialto police Lt. Randy De Anda.

Police received a call of shots fired at 10 p.m. in the 400 block of West Jackson Street. Officers found five gunshot victims. Two handguns were also found at the scene, but police were unable to get a description of the shooters.

Police said a 40-year-old Bellflower man and a 33-year-old Rialto woman were found wounded in the house in the 700 block of West Olive Street at 7:15 p.m. Their names were not available.

The woman died at the scene and paramedics took the man to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he died shortly after arrival, police said.

There were no suspects in custody and no further details released on the case this morning.

A championship rally will follow in the Eagles gymnasium, where city officials plan to honor the school and the winning team.

Eisenhower's Eagles beat Rocklin High School's team March 21 in Sacramento at Arco Arena.

Rialto Unified School District officials said Eisenhower is the only high school in the county to win the state basketball championship.

They will move over to Baseline and Riverside Avenue on Saturday.

Money will be collected between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day.

The "Fill the Boot" fundraiser chose this cause because the Muscular Dystrophy Association is the largest researcher of neuromuscular disease in the world, Rialto firefighters said. The MDA has partnered with the International Association of Firefighters for 55 years.

The child was apparently playing outdoors with his 3-year-old cousin with no adult supervision when he fell, according to a Rialto police news release.

The cousin ran inside to get help and a family member performed CPR on the boy before paramedics arrived. The boy was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, where he was listed in critical condition late Friday.

Rialto fire officials initially said the victim was a 1-year-old boy.

The incident occurred just after 5 p.m. at a home in the 1900 block of North Joyce Avenue.

The baby's family members told Rialto fire officials that another child was playing with the baby by the pool when he fell in the backyard pool in the 1900 block of N. Joyce Avenue around 5:30 p.m., according to a Rialto fire news release.

The other child got an older sibling to pull the baby out of the pool, and an adult started doing CPR on the baby. The children got to the pool area through sliding door.

When paramedics arrived, the baby had a pulse but was not breathing. On the way to the hospital, he started recovering, according to the release.

Fire officials want to stress that pool drownings do not only occur in the summer.

Police found Robert Sandoval in the 2400 block of W. Via Bello Dr.. He had been shooting from a second-story window, according to the release.
