Joseph Razo, 31, and his wife, Irma Decasa, 29, reported the 1998 Honda Accord stolen late April 19. Razo also made his 11-year-old son lie to deputies about the incident, sheriff's officials said. San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies discovered the vehicle had been involved in a hit-and-run crash earlier in the day in Victorville.

Deputies arrested Razo on suspicion of filing a false police report, conspiracy and perjury and booked him in jail without bail. Sheriff's officials said deputies will request conspiracy charges be filed against Decasa.

Victorville mother used children's account for fraud, police say A mother of three on welfare was using bank accounts in her children's name for fraudulent bank transactions, authorities said.

Audrey Neal, 42, of Victorville was booked at the Victor Valley jail this week on suspicion of commercial burglary, grand theft, elder abuse, possession of stolen property, fraudulent use of an access card and providing marijuana to a minor for sale. Bail was set at $550,000.

Her children -- ages 11, 15 and 17 -- were placed in the care of their grandmother.
Bank of America tellers suspicious of large cash transactions from one of the accounts tipped off sheriff's deputies on Tuesday.

A search of her Highcrest Street home uncovered a new 400 series Mercedes, which she was apparently driving on a suspended license, and several credit reports and identification cards with other people's names, deputies said.

Neal was using her 17-year-old son to make the transactions, according to a sheriff's news release. The teen was also found to have marijuana packaged for sale on him when deputies searched the house, they said.
