Capps shows C is for consistency

Consistency works for Ron Capps

If consistent runs truly is what wins on the NHRA Powerade Series tour, then Funny Car veteran Ron Capps must be feeling pretty good today.
Capps has driven his NAPA Dodge Charger like it's been on a rail.
The California native started with a run of 4.876 on Thursday before following with a 4.838 Friday and a 4.850 during today's first session.
"It kind of nosed over at the end there," said Capps after his first attempt today. "But it's a great race-day setup. I don't want to jinx the NAPA Charger, but we have made three runs in a row down the race track. That's a big deal."
