Well, the 2008 season is just a few minutes away, so what better time to come out with a few predictions.
Here's my top five for the upcoming season:

TOP FUEL
1. Tony Schumacher

Never pick against Alan Johnson
2. Brandon Bernstein
The Bud prince stepped up big last season, look for more of the same in 2008
3. Hot Rod Fuller
2007 was a dream season; can he do it again?
4. Larry Dixon
The two-time champ is definitely one to watch
5. Doug Kalitta
Was 2007 an aberration or a beginning of a downward spiral
FUNNY CAR
1. Tony Pedregon

Two-time showed the way in 2007; why not again in '08?
2. Robert Hight
Top car in the class, but can he find the consistency?
3. Ron Capps
The people's champ?
4. Gary Scelzi
Knows how to win
5. John Force
Faces biggest challenge of his career
PRO STOCK
1. Greg Anderson

Arguably the sport's most-consistent winner over the past five years
2. Jeg Coughlin Jr.
Seeks repeat
3. Allen Johnson
Developing more consistency is a must
4. Jason Line
2006 champ ready to resume old form
5. Kurt Johnson
Proven winner

Now it's your turn
