PRO STOCK: Line dances to lead

| | Comments (0) |

Jason Line talks to the media after qualifying No. 1 in Pro Stock on Friday.

Jason Line, who won a series title two years ago, zoomed to the top of the qualifying charts with a 6.658 at 208.39 mph. Dave Connolly is second with the 6.660 he ran Thursday.
"Really, the run didn't feel that great," Line said. "We ran OK (Thursday), and we kind of tweaked it a bit and running in the left lane helped. We've always struggled in the right lane - not that it's a bad lane, it just is for us."
Jeg Coughlin Jr., who needs to just qualify for this event to clinch his fourth championship and his second-consecutive title, is ninth after two sessions with a 6.678.
