Former Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Antron Brown had a killer year in his rookie season in Top Fuel last season.
He didn't rest on his laurels this season, winning five races and leading the points during the "regular season."
He's slipped a bit in the Countdown to One championship chase, but comes into this race with a mathematical chance to win his first NHRA title.
We talked to him in the pits earlier and well we will have a video on our talk.
He said that he still is in the running for the title, hoping to win the race, set a national record, if the conditions fall in line and let the pieces fall in place.
Brown, now back in the Don Schumacher Racing camp, also likes his chances to go for the championship next year, when he will be teamed in the Top Fuel wars with Tony Schumacher and Cory McClenathan.
