House party

When asked early Tuesday if President Bush was as confident the GOP would retain control of the Congress as he had been in recent days, White House press secretary Tony Snow said, "No, he's more confident."

That's a fancy pair of Rove-colored glasses you have there, Mr. President.

But we should all heed the words of Fox News: "San Francisco values" will soon sweep across the nation. We'll all be gay-married by year's end, and inviting Osama bin Laden over for some vegetarian treats. Because Democrats "just don't get it."

And clearly, neither do the voters.

So keep your eyes peeled Wednesday as the spin doctors unleash lame excuses for their losses. It should be funnier than anything you read here.
