I'm controversial

While surfing the net tonight, I was hit up by two faith-specific dating sites, Jdate.com (for Jewish singles) and Catholicmatch.com. Apparently the Internet doesn't know I was raised Lutheran.

I've never been particular when it came to my girlfriends' faith. Heck, I'd commit to a goat-slaying pagan if she cleaned up nicely.

So who's really limiting themselves? A Catholic who won't date a Jew, or an Internet blogger who appreciates a pretty face? Are they both sides of the same coin?

Do you think someone who will only date another of the same faith is the equivalent of someone who refuses to date outside their race? And will I get hate mail in both English and Hebrew? Only time will tell...
