Pasadena Police open up on prostitution bust
PASADENA – After an afternoon of phone calls and conversations about the Pasadena Police Department’s obligation to release the names of those arrested in a recent prostitution ring, police Chief Phillip Sanchez complied Monday with the Star-News request for the information.
Pasadena cops arrested 12 men Friday suspected of misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution.
Pasadena Police officials pointed to a city policy to not release the names of prostitution suspects.
No, word on whether the city will change its policy, but the transparency in this case is welcomed.
