PASADENA
- The end is nigh for the famous White Hut, the Pasadena eatery set
to be replaced by a hipster coffee shop.
It’s not a Northwest Pasadena business, but it is a newsroom favorite.
Friday
is the last day the White Hut will serve burgers, pastrami
sandwiches, french fries and all manners of artery clogging, but
comforting fare.
The
shack-sized burger joint is being evicted by new landlord and chain
organic coffee shop Urth Caffe.
Out
goes grease soaked griddles, in comes organic soy lattes.
