I thought the timing was right. I drew it just after his "big" speech. The editors could have been scared of the religious angle and strong reactions from our devoted Mormon readership. Part of me thinks that sometimes editors have to get used to a certain idea and let it digest for a while. I'll wait until the issue comes back around and submit it again, maybe in another form. Then it will probably go through. Or, I could draw Romney this way ALL the time. Bike, backpack, short sleave shirt, black tie, going door to door with the "good" book. I could be on to something here...........
