Torture Claus

Here are two thoughtful and reasoned responses I recieved to today's cartoon:
"I don't think your cartoonist is clever, I think he is sick. The hatred this man spills over into his work and he crosses the line of decency; in fact I don't htink he is even aware of that line. What does this say abou you? The people who print this sick filth."
Pacoima, CA
"Mr. Patrick O'Connor's cartoon depicting three American soldiers as overwieght cigarette smoking thugs about to water board "Claus" is truly despicable. Mr. O'connor has the right to his opinion on waterboarding, much less Santa Claus. But the degrading of the American soldiers in this cartoon is neither acceptable nor a venue he should have taken."
Burbank, CA

I guess you have a right to your opinion as long as you keep it to yourself, eh? Oh, and don't you dare be clever or ironic with that opinion either.
Love your stuff!
I'm so to live in a country where people don't think waterboarding is torture, where they think it's ok to hold people in jail for 6 years without charge, and where if you criticize such practices, you're worse than the people who do them.
Congratulations, Patrick!
Your quick transfer of WHO is being tortured struck a nerve among the RW bigot fascists. AND the brain dead American public. Torture is only impermissable if employed against Xians and pre-Xians ( Abramites ).
Cheeses..I'm an atheist, and I think torture is wrong, period!
