One of the most frequent questions a cartoonist is asked, besides "Where do you get your ideas?" is "What materials do you use?" Here is one of my favorites....the Windsor & Newton Series 7 sable brush. Ahhhhh, they are beautiful, aren't they? These brushes, if cleaned and well kept, can last for years. I dip them ink and a little bit of water. The ink I use is corrosive and eats away at the brush fibers. These brushes are made for watercolor, acrylic and oil paints. However, I take very good care and pay special attention to cleaning and maintaining a good point on each brush. The majority of my cartoons have been created by these three guys.

So, I've been gone for a few days, hence no new cartoons. I went to Lake Tahoe in the upper Sierra Nevada mountains to do some skiing, or "riding" as the snowboarders now call it. As you can see it was really beautiful and everyone said this was the best weather they had seen this season. Last week they received eight feet of snow. While I was there the weather was strikingly beautiful each day. Clear, blue and magical! I feel refreshed, reinvigorated and ready to get back to the ugly world of politics.

While voters all across America rejected his candidacy, my editor rejected these two Rudy Guiliani cartoons from last week.

Yeah, yeah. This is pretty basic, I know. I haven't seen to many of these, however. Probably because most cartoonists are wary of drawing Hillary in a sports bra. Yuck.

Here's a little mess for you.....just like today, Super Tuesday. Presumably you're out exercising your constitutional right to vote? Enjoy the show.
