One of the most frequent questions a cartoonist is asked, besides "Where do you get your ideas?" is "What materials do you use?" Here is one of my favorites....the Windsor & Newton Series 7 sable brush. Ahhhhh, they are beautiful, aren't they? These brushes, if cleaned and well kept, can last for years. I dip them ink and a little bit of water. The ink I use is corrosive and eats away at the brush fibers. These brushes are made for watercolor, acrylic and oil paints. However, I take very good care and pay special attention to cleaning and maintaining a good point on each brush. The majority of my cartoons have been created by these three guys.
