found this comment from when the babies were first born and wonder if the writer is confused about father/grandfather or if the babies' father is in fact a man in uniform as nadya is attracted to

So far, all the news has been focused on the fact that the mother of the California Eight is really the mother of 14! Angela Suleman will presumably continue to help raise her grandchildren at her home on a cul-de-sac in Whittier, California. The names of the octoplets' parents have not been released, nor could I find any mention of any other children Suleman may have had.

The only other personal facts I could uncover was that is was unclear if the parents of the California Eight are married. The father will be returning to Iraq. According to Suleman's neighbors, the father of the California Eight is a contractor. The other six children are ages 7, 6, 5, 3 and 2-year-old twins and it has not been confirmed whether they all have the same father.

I have no place that I can go back to, but I remember in some interview that Angela or someone said that the father of Nadya's children was Mexican or part Mexican, and possibly a police officer/ex-police officer.

I remember the speculation about the father being of mixed race, such as part black, or part Mexican. I also watched the RO interviews when Nadya spoke of the father. And there are the references made by Angela's parents. Not to mention the husband, who was Hispanic and the divorce that took so long to finalize due to Nadya's indifference, apparently. Oh, yea, the guy who wanted DNA tests cuz he thought he might be the father. Angela referred once to a man who wanted to marry Nadya. Putting it all together, drawing a deep breath, my opinion is...Nadya doesn't really know. No one knows. The sperm donor is anonymous.

I've noticed that whenever Nadya speaks of the donor, she seems tired and stressed. Her guard is down and she's not thinking through her thoughts very well. You can see how tired she is because her speech pattern is quite different, her face is different too. She's feeling down and wants someone to rescue her, so she fantasizes, or perhaps is hoping to call out the donor. Wouldn't it be wonderful for Nadya if a man came forward and said, "Don't worry, my dear, I'll take care of this mess!" Nadya doesn't want marriage. But she wants a knight in shining armor. Her stories of talking to the guy, upsetting him with the news of the impending birth of 7, etc., is all fiction.

It could be Nadya thinks she's putting a nicer front on things by saying, basically, "I'm going to suffer and trudge through this by myself. I'm so honorable, I refuse to ruin this man's life." She's even admitting to being in the wrong, darn near confessing to a crime, or at least to being extremely unethical, but is willing to take the heat for his sake. Very self-sacrificing. But it's all fiction. The donor is anonymous.

It could also be that RO was pressuring her a little into talking, hoping to get a big news story. I noticed that in a couple of RO interviews, Nadya appears to be getting manipulated a bit, like when she supposedly gave up med school for her children. She just resigned herself to getting words put into her mouth.

Generally speaking, no self-respecting con artist would admit to doing anything wrong to an international audience, unless under duress or for a reason that would further their cause. I doubt Nadya would admit to awful events, such as pissing off the sperm donor, unless they didn't actually happen. She seems to following a train of thought, like a storyteller, during those interviews.

Her description of the donor is the stuff of fantasy. What little girl hasn't dreamed of the dashing uniformed foreigner taking her away from her troubles? How about the man who is so wonderful, he's worth suffering for? A guy who is so terrific, you want to have his babies just to have a little bit of him near you. This is the stuff of soap operas. He's an anonymous sperm donor.

Actually, it wouldn't be too difficult to learn of the donor's identity, for the right people. Dr. Kamrava's office would have all anonymous donors on file. Privacy laws keep the files from being shared with the public, but if Nadya wanted to know, she could find out. Also, the donor probably has figured it out already. He knows he contributed to Kamrava's clinic and the kids most likely resemble him or a relative. Maybe someday, he'll come forward. If the kids want to know, they can look him file a request with the clinic, if it's still there when they're old enough to do their own research. Sperm donors have been found this way. Due to the nature of their business arrangement, they can not be hit up for child support.

Thanks for that new heading! I doubt that this really is a win for Gloria Allred no matter what slant she wants to put on it; it's too bad Nadya wasn't able to think fast enough to make the comment she gave you now at the court house. I think it is definitely a positive that this attorney appears to have no connection to Allred or to Nadya and is truly neutral. If Nadya is being truthful she will be vindicated and hopefully he will educate her in the process. There needs to be a knowledgeable person who place who has not hidden agenda who will look out for the children. Their best interests at heart should not preclude the interests of their mother and their siblings. They do not live in a vacuum just as none of us do.

Interesting article; In Nadya's case she likely also went for someone with a similar ethnic background to herself. Of course that could mean a wide selection, but I suspect she would have leaned toward her father's background rather than her mothers. The children who look more caucasian could very well be reflecting Angela's genetics just as two year old Caleb does.

I think you may very well be right with your speculations, Sharon. They do appear to make sense and she did appear to be in some kind of fantasy land in that "bedroom" interview. That is the one that I felt put her in the worst light of all and maybe it is because it portrayed her as a very young teenager talking to a friend about a fantasy lover.

You have made a lot of good points there Susan. I always found it strange that Nadya would say it was a good platonic friend. LOL Wouldn't there be someone out there that was an associate or just knew Nadya that could put two and two together? Or some investigative reporter? They would see who Nadya was friends with and possibly the children would look like him. It this day and age, someone is bound to spill the beans to a tabloid reporter for a price.

I think Nadya does THINK she has the childrens' best interests at heart. She is like a child herself and has had little accountability in her life and that is why she has made past decisions. I'm not sure she knows which end is up, and having someone luetral to oversee things in the end would be the best for all involved. Yes, maybe more costly, but in the end maybe not.

I know it isn't public record, but what does everyone think Nadya is going to make with this three year contract? She stated she wanted a few 100K to raise her children each year, so I imagine it is in that ball park.

I guess what annoys me is that I know it would be difficult raising a family physically and financially that size. If she is making 300K+ ( her ssI checks, other assistance, the kid's earnings that she has control over, and her opportunities a year), even with taking out legal expenses etc., that still is plenty to raise her family, and she still wants donations from people? I know down the road she might be facing a problem, but she needs to start planning or that and adjusting her life style. I guess I've always lived frugally and within my income. Just given her past history, I wonder if she is capable of doing this.

Yeah, I thought the one time story of her having the sperm in a plastic bag between her breast as sounding sketchy.

Don't agree with Millie's comment about public versus private schools. There are many excellent public schools out there and children can get a good solid education from one. Truthfully, how a child is brought up to take the most from their educational experiences is almost more important. They need to value education and to be a life long learner.

I also Millie, am not suggesting they put ALL their money away for the future. Planning for their future is not a ridiculous thought, and it requires more than just thinking about getting a book deal and reality show. Almost all of us could learn to budget better and prioritize when spending out money. I think it would be foolish to think Nadya shouldn't be doing this.

When we were first married we had little money to work with and a large family. As our income rose, so did out spending habits. Looking back, we probably ate better, did more things together as a family ( Game Nights etc.- we had no cable tv), and our children were just as happy.

I worry Nadya's new contacts in life. There will be many people who will be out to take advantage of her. No, she isn't a wild child like Britney Spears,nor has the earning potetial of Britney, but look what happened to her with the wrong people as "friends", and look how she has seemed to turn around her life witht he proper guidance.

I almost would like to read a book of Nadya's life 20 years down the road when she has a little more maturity, life experiences, and has a little more to look back on. In actuality, she has just begun her journey.

LuLu I am glad to hear that you don't think "all" the money should be saved for the kids when they grow up. Many have advocated for this, I think purely out of vindictiveness to their mother. I agree that children shouldn't be born with a job, but I think it can be taken to far the other way too. I grew up in a very poor family, my father had a severe heart attack when I was five and could no longer work. We all did what we could to add to the family finances and I don't think that was a bad thing at all. I think it teaches us to think of others and not just ourselves. Did you ever notice how young children will demand to be served first at a meal and then, if limits aren't set well demand more food or something else before Mommy even has a chance for her first bite? That behavior exhibits the natural self centeredness of young children. Unless they are taught otherwise they will maintain that attitude throughout life and the "me first" attitude will get in the way of their success in life. Some have suggested that Nadya exhibits this trait. I would need more evidence first hand to decide this. Anyway, I digress; Children need to learn as they grow that they are a working part of the family unit whether it be through doing their share of the chores or in this case by necessity, sharing in the financial burden. They owe their mother their life and in turn will have to pay for that life by a certain amount of exploitation. That is the only way it will work. If anyone else were to take over these children they would likely end up doing something similar unless the state were to support them

I reread my last comment and would add that I am totally in favor of 15% plus being in trust for when they grow up. They babies or for that matter the older children may not all be college material but whether or not they are it would be good to have something for a start in life. All children in this country are not nearly that lucky and many will make it on their own without that advantage, but they certainly will have earned it

Given that he's moved on to use reality shows in his career, I find it difficult to believe that a reality show destroyed his family, like Petersen alleges. Maybe it's true, but I just haven't seen any evidence or statements about that, other than Petersen's emotional statement.

According to the above mentioned article, the reality series definitely DID NOT destroy Danny Bonaduce's family, as Paul Petersen alleges.

I would guess that if Nadya has managed to withstand the public scrutiny to this point as she has this would point to a very strong and resilient person. I think the one thing that might be most dangerous to her psyche would be if her children truly were removed from her care. I think she can learn to live with the financial guardianship, after all its not that different from what she has attempted to set up and she will likely find it beneficial. I think that her children and everything that has to do with them truly are her life, that's why she went to such lengths to give birth to them in the first place

I'm very concerned. There is an awful lot wrong about this morning's interview with Paul Petersen on the Today show.

First of all, he claims that the Eyeworks Reality Show called "Breaking Bonaduce" assisted in the destruction of Danny Bonaduce's family. The link I posted in a previous post proves that wrong. Danny himself describes how the producers wanted him to get into rehab, among other things. He was self-destructing before the reality show. Also, he is continuing to do reality shows as part of his career, currently. If a reality show assisted in ending his marriage, I should think he wouldn't want to have any more to do with them.

On this point, Paul Petersen is lying.

To make matter worse, he blames reality shows for the suicides of 11 people. But this hasn't been proven and is dubious, at best, as is illustrated by the link I provided in a previous post. Keep in mind that hundreds of people, possibly thousands, have participated in reality shows world-wide.

On this point, Paul Petersen is stretching a statistic to fit his purposes.

Those are typical con-artist ploys. I know them well.

Another problem is Paul Petersen and Gloria Allred, who is supposed to be representing him, are not at all on the same page. Paul emphatically says, "It isn't safe! We've got to stop this!" when referring to the upcoming Eyeworks documentary of the octuplets. But Gloria states that the wishes of the mother to exploit the kids will be respected, as long as the financial and well being of the kids are protected by someone other than the mother. She mentions nothing about stopping the Eyeworks documentary.

In my opinion, Paul Petersen made the terrible con-artist mistake of "tipping his hand," too soon. He doesn't plan to do anything but stop all public showings of the Suleman children, through the GAL that he and Allred recommended.

Now, why do you suppose that is? Anyone?

Sharon, I was not at all impressed with Paul Petersen as I saw him on the interview with Meredith on the Today show. I thought the appeared immature and petty. His expressions were not those of a sincere man except when he went into that passionate speech.

I agree that he was misusing statistics to try to illustrate his point. Is he just a grown up TV star wannabe and if he can't have success he wants to stop any other child from experiencing what he didn't get? If you look at other very big child stars like Shirley Temple who ended up as an Ambassador it is hard to argue that it is always a bad thing. Liz Taylor was another child star who made it big as an adult. The octuplets on the other hand will not have a future in TV after they reach the age of 5 or so. I have been thinking this with the Gosselins kids and I think the future will bear this out. It wasn't the divorce that killed the show, it will be the kids reaching an awkward age where they are in school all day.

I am surprised with GA and her statements indicating she has no intention of trying to stop the children from the show, she just wants to get back at Nadya. Her smile at the end of that show seemed rather forced to me.

Millie I agree with you wholeheartedly. Paul is trying to get back at other children to make him feel better towards what happened to him in my opinion.I think Gloria is still trying to get a hold of those octuplets any way she can. If Paul had been sincere about this whole situation he would have went directly to Jeff or Nadya to find out if the kids had a Coogan account without involving Gloria. But oh no they had to have a piece of the media pie. Maybe they both feel better now.

A friend just informed me of a point I hadn't realized; all earning by children in Ca are the property of the children and can't be used by anyone else. So what are they used for? Certainly the children aren't given the money just to go out and spend However this explains why Nadya needs to have the main portion of the earnings in her name

Paul stated that the American Humane Association would have protected the children if they were puppies. An interesting analogy. Remember when I said I'm into animal welfare issues? I'm very, very familiar with the American Humane Association.

The fact is, American Humane is in the business of protecting both animals and children in the entertainment industry. It's their job to investigate violations and take appropriate action. If Petersen had been so concerned, he could have just made a report to American Humane.

But he does a suit with Allred, and to an international audience, sends an insult to American Humane, saying that they are letting children down to protect puppies.

This is a common competition tactic. Basically saying that his organization, A Minor Consideration, is better than the American Humane Association.

Beginning to understand why Nadya fears losing her children completely? Anyone?

Do you remember Angels in Waiting? Here is their link that explains what that company is about.

This link explains that they are nurses that take children into their homes, to raise as foster children, while using state funds to do that. It's actually a very nice thing to do. Keeps medically challenging children out of institutions because ordinary foster parents might find the caregiving too difficult.

However, No where on that site does it say anything about providing in-home nursing services in other people's homes. That's just not what they do. This is the reason they were never really prepared to provide the wrap-around care of the octuplets, especially in LaHabra, in their own home.

Due to Nadya's inexperience and other issues, the octuplets most certainly would have wound up in foster care, with Angels in Waiting nurses. Of course, this is my opinion.

How much money in donations do you think Angels in Waiting would have received? Quite a bit, I'd say. Especially after that pitch through the Dr. Phil show concerning the ridiculously high price tag of $134,000/month.

Nadya finally saw through all this, went with her usual nanny service, and fired AIW.

(a) A contract pursuant to which a person is employed or agrees to render artistic or creative services, either directly or through a third party, including, but not limited to, a personal services corporation (loan-out company). “Artistic or creative services” includes, but is not limited to, services as an actor, actress, dancer, musician, comedian, singer, stunt-person, voice-over artist, or other performer or entertainer, or as a songwriter, musical producer or arranger, writer, director, producer, production executive, choreographer, composer, conductor, or designer.

If anyone tries to take Nadya's babies away all she has to do is pack up and leave the country and move to where her father is from. I'm sure she would be received with open arms. In my opinion AIW was just waiting for the chance to scoop up those babies from Nadya.They can't stop the filming altogether can they?

Sandee, no. If they could, they would be using animatronics for babies. All they can do is ensure Octomom follows the laws of the State of California. And the law does not say that children can not be used in film. This family is no different than the Spears family.

Octorazzi, Allred demanded transparency from Nadya, did she EVER get back to the WDN's request on the amount raised for AIW through Dr Phil's efforts? When contacted today AIW's answer was that the nurses were busy with the babies. When Allred was contacted she said the check went directly to AIW and "the nurses are busy with the babies" Shouldn't this money also have to be accounted for?

Millie, from my understanding, you are right. The money earned by the children is theirs. It is placed in an account. 15% can not be touched by anyone until the children come of age. The rest is to be used for the kids. Octomom must justify these expenditures to the GAL. He/she has the right to say, yes they need food and clothing, no they do not need another super duper playhouse. It's up to the discretion of the GAL.

I think it will not end here. Gloria & Paul or Gloria & someone else will keep trying to get their claws into Nadya for some other reason till she gets those babies taken away. Why doesnt she go pick on someone else? Nadya needs to keep her guard up at all times. She need more help now than ever. And the poor babies money now has to be shared with the guardian as his fee.

I don't think anyone has started/or will start a movement to try to take Nadya's babies away. I don't think it was ever about that. Allred wanted to make sure the babies went home to a safe and nurturing environment. Nadya had no plans for what she was going to do or how she was going to provide for them. That was scary in itself.

Why shouldn't the guardian be paid for his services? I am sure many in the entertainment industry have to pay for services for their children. Honestly. . .what will the babies/children be doing that will be so taxing for their money? I bet not much, and the account will be there to make sure that they aren't taking advantage of. The balance (85%) will be going to Nadya for their upkeep. Even if it is 20%/50% after expenses paid, that is a decent amount for the amount of time they will be "working". Plus this account and guardian ( if it continues) will be there if any other opportunities arise that Nadya wants to consider. Nadya is going to be the one with the large pay check, and she should be using it to support her children. I guess I just don't see it as poor Nadya, poor babies, poor children. It is life. Down the road, Nadya may have a more difficult time, but truthfully I don't think are finances NOW ( from the LITTLE I see) are as bad as some are making it out to be.

I work with children. I have many children whose parents work minimum wage, and they are a family of 4-6. Yes, it would be nice that they would have some more material things, but their children are well mannered, work hard in school, stay out of trouble, and have loving caring parents. They have an income possibly a fifth of Nadya's proportionately.

Nadya's babies will not be taken away unless they are in danger or neglected. I doubt that will happen. It takes an awful lot to take children away from their parents. Their are many awful parents out there, and even more with poor parenting skills who have their children in their care.

Nadya made a choice to have this large family without any consideration to them. Now she has to plan accordingly, which she is doing, although I don't care for many of the decisions she has made up-to-date. Statistically, within her brood of 14, some will be successful and rise to their opportunities in life, others will survive, and a few might be at risk.

AIW and Dr. Phil made sure the "contract" was written in such a way as to allow AIW to keep whatever money wasn't used directly on the infants. The media has a lot to account for in all of this. No one (in the media) bothered to look into AIW. It is constantly is repeated that Nadya gave up free care for her children which isn't at all true. AIW was using the octoplets to get donations and all the funds going to AIW were used to pay AIW staff and expenses even though Nadya had to provide her own nannies. Apparently if enough donations didn't come in to cover AIW's expenses they expected Nadya to chip in. I wouldn't be at all surprised if their leaving was a result of running out of money.

Yes Millie, he could be very right. That's why I keep saying that she did not handle things properly. If she had just opened the accounts and divided the money equitably (by the letter of the law) from the start, she could have been their GAL. All these plans could have made while she was in the hospital for the 2 months. Then she had plenty of time between her release and the first 2 babies from the hospital (1 month) to execute those plans.

She was too anxious. She should have stepped back and taken a hard look at her situation. And like a master chess player, she should have visualized her moves far in advance of her opponents‘.

As I have said before, I blame Czech. He should have sub-contracted the services of a lawyer familiar with these laws, right away. Then the proper contracts would have been drawn up and the judge would have allowed Octomom to be their GAL. She just had to 'show good faith'.

But, it's too late now. The damage has been done and even if she does a complete turn around, it won't help. She appeared greedy and that’s the impression the public got. Like Sharon said, “She needed the services of a good publicity agent”. Look, even Obahma can make ‘stupid’ mistakes. He was reading off a tele-prompter.

I like, many others, wish I could go over there, give her a piece of tough love and put her on the right track. But it is her life and she has the right to make as many mistakes as she needs to learn. That's where good parenting comes in, allowing your children to make all those stupid mistakes as a teenager while still under your wing for protection.

Angela's controlling behavior did not allow for this right of passage and at 33, Octomom is finally learning from the school of hard knocks. Mistakes made at this age can not be expunged. They are on your life’s record forever.

As many have said- This whole situation is the "fault" of many. . . Who should take the blame? Most likely all of them, but that will never happen. Who are the victims? These 14 children.

Who's to blame?
-Angela and Ed for enabling and indulging Nadya
-Angela and Ed- Genetic makeup of Nadya- personaility traits etc? maybe
-Nadya's physicians for her many medical procedures
-Nadya's counselors over the years? maybe
-Those who maybe allowed monies/services to be received when maybe they shouldn't have-maybe
-Nadya's publicists
-Nadya lawyers and advisors
-The media
-Us
-Nadya herself

Nadya has to be the one to overcome all of this. She can do it with the proper help and perseverance, but it will be hard.

Bottom Line the only con-artist is Nadya.

If not for her scamming, there would be no discussion.

She has proven she lies and manipulates for selfish gain.

All this defending her only allows her gypsy con games to continue.

ADMIN NOTE: Nope. In this "game" the partial score is 1-0 ALLRED, at half time. The second part of the game will come at the end of next month, when the GAL will return with the information he has been able to dig up. If he still has stones to turn, the judge might continue this GAL until there is definitive answers to all the financial records concerning the octuplets. Once "the dust settles" and there is a final decision then either side can claim victory. And as Suleman told ONLY OCTORAZZI last night, she welcomes the GAL and hopefully all these records can become public so we can all see, we can all get an insight as to what REALLY went on during these past six months. My thought: In the long run, it is better for the children to have someone neutral look over the financial interests because someone on the outside might be better able to negotiate contracts and maximize the benefit to the children. i.e. Someone (GAL) who has experience negotiating contracts might be able to squeeze a bit more out of any company than someone (Suleman/Czech) with much less experience. Waddaya THUNK?

Here's the point I was trying to make:

If the world were full of honest people, con artists wouldn't be able to thrive at all. In fact, cons don't usually choose honest people for their "marks", or targets. It is possible to fool honest people, for awhile, but it's too risky. When honest marks wake up, there could be hell to pay.

But Big Boy cons like to go after little cons. So much easier. Nadya is a little con artist. That makes her the perfect mark. There will always be someone, somewhere, trying to get a piece of her action.

And the kids will grow up and write books someday, similar to the Dionnes, "We were Five."

So whenever you hear someone passionately telling you, "The babies are in danger! We must save them!" Stop. Listen. Do the research.

There's no such thing as Fairy Godfathers or Fairy Godmothers. More than likely, the octuplets are not being saved. Quite possibly, they're just being transferred to a bigger con in the food chain.

How could this have been prevented? Well, many years ago, someone should have been honest with Nadya and stopped her cons. Even more recently, someone should have been more honest and stopped her cons. This whole story is laced with cons taking advantage of a little con, and vice versa. It would take an extremely honest army of extremely honest people to pull the LaHabra 14 out of that shark tank they were born into. It's just too late.

I predict that Allred is going down on this one.

I think maybe Nadya didn't really know the rules about having a get a "Coogan Account" to film the babies. Many people are not familiar with having to do that. She was just happy her babies were home and allowed them to be filmed. It is Radar and Czech that should have known the rules of the industry and informed her.

I would expect her to be on the defense while being filmed when she came out of the court house. When you are mad you will try to show you don't really care. (most people anyway) We say things to look like we have a hold on the situation.That's what Nadya must have done when ask to comment. And then when Raul talked to her later she had time to cool off and calm down.I think deep down she is afraid those babies will be taken away. Of course Allred had to make it sound like she won. Allred needs to go pick on someone else.

I am so happy that Nadya can finally name all of the babies without forgetting which is which. Here is the proof.

Why I think Allred is going to lose again.

The judge said:

I think a convincing argument can be made that any minor early mistakes were isolated incidences as Nadya was understandably overwhelmed.

-She had just given birth to 8 babies at once who she was visiting daily at the hospital while she had another 6 at home.
-She had a famous lawyer, Allred, announcing to the press that she was going to step in and try to get Nadya's children put in fostercare
-she was under public attack so vicious that a publicist quit out of fear
-she had another unknown organization, AIW, attacking her and trying to take control of her and her children
-she needed to find professionals that would actually help her rather than try to use her.
-She needed to find and pay for housing and nannies for the babies before she could take them home.
-paparazzi had been chasing her and filming her and her children for free

In response:
-she got a lawyer to help with the finances
-She agreed to do a blog and daily diary for RO herself to generate funds and protected her children by allowing only limited access to them. She ensured that the bulk of the filming centered on her.
-She simultaneously negociated with other entities trying to work out deals for a documentary style show that would allow for occasional not constant filming, and again, would focus more on her.

Within months she had Coogan accounts set up, a regular lawyer who didn't bail on her, an entertainment lawyer, and a contract that would limit access to the children to a few days a month unlike reality shows that tape 3 or 4 days a week. The documentary is described as being about her and she has already started work. She submitted the children's contract to the courts for approval.

I am pretty sure that Nadya will succeed in proving to the GAL that the children's current contracts and working conditions are being taken care of in an exemplary fashion and there is no reason to believe that would change in the future. Therefore, no permanent GAL is required.

As far as grandpa goes I don't think I would leave the country yet not knowing what is going on with my grandkids. The grandkids he loves so much. Wonder if he was at the court house? Maybe he was helping out with the kids.

Well Lindy we shall soon see. Unlike what many predicted, Nadya still has custody of her children even though a powerful lawyer has tried her best to have them taken away from her.

All of Allred's complaints so far have failed to affect Nadya. AIW/Allred's reports to CPS did not result in a visit. When CPS did visit based on a teacher's report they found everything in order. Even the labor complaint got RO dinged not Nadya. It's not even clear if RO has paid the fines or is contesting them.

Having failed to get physical guardianship taken away from Nadya she is now attempting to get financial guardianship taken away even though she has no proof at all of any misappropriation of funds.

I don't see the GAL finding any evidence serious enough to override Nadya's parental rights and force the children to pay the salary of a GAL.

Physical appearance does not affect the ability to parent so I don't think the courts will be taking baseless tabloid rumors into account.

Nope. I think Allred has this one. Many people have speculated that the court would even dismiss the case! That didn't happen. It wasn't even put on continuance until Aug. 20. Just flat out GAL.

The second half of the petition is to have separate agents for the children vs. Nadya. Allred has already stated that she will probably be back in court long before the Aug. 20 date. My guess is that she is going to go back to have Hammond instated (once his paperwork/license is in effect).

Isn't that statement by Nutsy pretty close to the one she said about AIW? To Dr. Phil? That lasted about a week because she kept asking about having filming done and AIW said no. When AIW tried to get her to bond and work with the tups she would just leave. Allred saying that she used the tups as "props". This comment was not only from Allred but from the paps at the park when asked what they thought. Two different camps - same opinion.

The records are going to be gone through with a fine tooth comb. Probably like a mimi-IRS audit. I thought I heard that it will even involve Angela and Ed. Checking the money trail. And, yes, I think this is something that was needed before the tups came home.

My thought: In the long run, it is better for the children to have someone neutral look over the financial interests because someone on the outside might be better able to negotiate contracts and maximize the benefit to the children. i.e. Someone (GAL) who has experience negotiating contracts might be able to squeeze a bit more out of any company than someone (Suleman/Czech) with much less experience. Here we go again. I leave to go to the market and we just can’t help going after each other. We’ve allowed this man to reduce us to a bunch of cat fighting females. When he isn’t around, we post intelligent arguments and are very civil to our opposition . But the minute he starts, we begin to mistrust each other and start the attack again. We are playing into his hand. None of us is all right and none of us is all wrong. We all perceive the story differently and remember , ‘our perception is our reality’. Boy, no wonder men think that we come from a different planet.

Anyhow, on the way home, I was listening to the John and Ken Show, KFI-LA 640. Their guests today were Gloria and Jeff. So I drove to the park and sat under a tree to listen.

Gloria had the first say. She explained that she and Paul went to court to have the judge appoint their choice of permanent guardian, and Jeff and Octomom went with their selection. But the judge said, "No. I want to appoint my own GAL (temporary guardian) and he is charged with investigating both sides of this argument. At the conclusion of his investigation, he will report back to me with his recommendation." Just like my Dad, he never took sides. He would warn us, “fight nice kids or I’ll knock both your heads together”. And he meant it. We would both shut up.

Then it was Jeff’s turn. He said that the judge blindsided them, appointing the GAL (temporary guardian). Neither side was able to say anything. The judge controlled the hearing. Jeff also asked Gloria, “Since she was a advocate for single women's rights, why was she getting her self involved in children’s rights?”. And then he questioned, “Who is going to pay for this GAL? You know he‘s expensive.”. Gloria responded that the judge would deternine that. And then the debate was over and they had a news break.

So, just as I said. No side lost, no side won. At least not yet. Next round, August 20th. Tune into your local radio stations. They seem to broadcast the more informative news stories.

There are many sites on cyber-bullying that are much better than my posts. Just Google or Yahoo, you'll find them. There's also a PSA about it that occasionally pops-up on Hulu online.

There's been a little bit of bullying today, but very mild, it seems. Probably just folks getting irritable while discussing a sensitive and controversial subject. I like Lindy's idea of cupcake breaks from time to time...Yum! Duggie's advice of "Don't Feed The Trolls" helps and makes us all laugh.

GrandmaB comes over from the NS site, gets the latest, then reports back to them, under the heading Tales From The Far Side. Both sites complement each other, so it's actually good to read both.

We already know who Cheyenne/Simonae/Beaver is, BizzyBee/BiggieShortie is, etc., etc. No need to be concerned about it.

I was just thinking of listening to some online radio broadcasts of Petersen/Allred interviews, but after this morning's appearance on the Today Show, I just couldn't for awhile. I think I'll tune into one of those tomorrow.

Info- what is offensive to Gloria is that Nadya refuses to work to support her children. I truly do not understand why that is so hard for you to get. It has nothing to do with appearance or being flirtatious.

Razzi has let this site go to heck in a hand basket. Can't even wade through half of these long diatribes any more. Some of them were beyond bizarre!

I don't know about you, but it would make me feel better. It's a nice, yet respectful way to vent just a little. Pardon me if I don't get the names just right.

Let's say we all wake up tomorrow and it's a beautiful day. The weather is just right. The birds are singing. Hummingbirds however, are sounding like little helicopters around the feeder hanging out over the porch. We look out into a field, loaded with shady fruit trees. Waaayyy out yonder, there's a lake, loaded with fish that could be caught with a stick and a bucket.

And then we hear the laughter. JJ and Elijah are coming up from the lake. Their faces are shining with impish delight. They've just caught a frog and have every intention of terrorising the girls with it. Where are they? Oh, there they are! In a daisy patch, playing with baby dolls. Amerah is showing Nariah how to hold a little tea cup. Calyssa is wearing a funny hat that is much too large. Mariah offering a biscuit to her dolly. Little do they know a frog is about to crash the party. Maliah, however, is wise to her brothers ways and has hidden a squirt pistol under her napkin. We notice a kind of clanging sound and yes, it's Aiden. He and Caleb swiped a coffee can from the kitchen...Jonah, Isaiah, Makai, and Noah are helping in a fire fly catching expedition for later in the evening. One of the orange trees is suddenly shaky. Fruit tumbles to the ground. Two little boys are in that tree. They climbed up there and are now hidden from view.

Suddenly, everyone is called in for lunch. The children are greeted a the door by Mom who is relaxed, pleasant and whole. The children glow in her love and she is keeping them safe. They don't see us. In fact, we don't really see them either. After all, we're the public and they have been protected from our view. They have privacy and peace.

If I could, this would be my gift to the Suleman family. I know it's impossible, but it's nice to dream, just for awhile.

Infosaturated, HERE, HERE. Thank You for repeating my mantra. I too have had to grow up in a male dominated world. That's why, obnoxious as she can be, Gloria is one of my heroes.

I have not been shy in saying that I entered the Computer Field in 1963. At the time, we were keypunch operators, working on Univac keypunch machines. That’s the only position they would allow us to have. I fought my way into the Computer Room. I was one of the first female Computer Operators in the US and I can still remember a man saying, “What the hell is that woman doing in the Computer Room”! We weren’t even allowed to cross the threshold. Woman were not allowed to be Astronauts because the men thought that females could not be trained to use the onboard computers. Boy, that was in the ‘good old fashion days’. But being a little woman and a tenuous woman, I worked myself up to Manager and have worked in the premier Data Centers across the nation from Stamford, to Tampa, to Chicago and to here. The Computer Rooms have been so large that one had 5 John Deere generators for it’s UPS system. And yes, I if you really want to see me angry, become the bosses bimbo in an effort to get a promotion. Every thing that I fought against all my life!

Millie, that’s why I refer to the trolls as a collective he. No self respecting woman would ever talk like that and use such foul mouth descriptions of male bodily functions. All woman in power that I admire speak assertively and are articulate. I try to emulate their behavior. I use big words and that’s on purpose.
