Guardianships is a legal relationship between a competent adult or legal entity and a person 18 years old or older, who has a disability that leaves him or her without the capacity to act on his or her own.
Generally, there are two types of guardianships: guardianship of the person and guardianship of the estate. Sometimes a guardian is appointed to be a guardian of both the person and estate of a ward. According to MY SOURCE once again and as far as it is believed (verification to come when Mr. Hammond calls me back), this gentleman has not ben involved in any such case like we have here with the Octuplets, where a child (or children) need to have someone else other than the parent oversee their finances and "opportunities."
Glancing over the Hammond's website, Octorazzi only found information about ELDER LAW, the above-mentioned info on GUARDIANSHIPS, Wills, Trusts, Probate, Powers of Attorney, Healthcare Planning, Medicaid Planning. Most of this, if not all, has to do with THE ELDERLY and someone taking over their lives when they cannot fend for themselves.
As soon as Mr. Hammond calls Octorazzi back, maybe many of these questions will clear up!
Octorazzi has sent him an email as well to see if he can get me some direct quotes asap!
In the mean time, Can YOU ALL send me SOME questions that YOU have for Mr. Hammond. They are probably same as Octorazzi has, but I would like YOUR input so we can have a better understanding of what Mr. Hammond has done for others that will make HIM the best candidate to oversee a possible MULTI-MILLION dollar fortune (times 8 or 14 even 15, for Gawd's sake!!!) At least Mr. Hammond is an attorney who has experience in guardianship, whether it be with elder law or child guardianship. This has to still be VERIFIED. From what I've heard, he HAS worked with children in film, but again, this is speculation.
Then we have Jeffie... attorney extraordinaire! He had on HIS website that he was an entertainment lawyer! Absolutely no prior experience except with Nutsy. And we've all seen what good work he's done in the past. (Not being able to file papers in a timely manner, misquoting, and at times incoherent - "Did not, did not".

California Courts dot gov lists the duties of a financial guardian of a minor in California.
basically the FG must inventory the assets, protect and secure the assets by depositing them in a blocked bank account, and provide an accounting to the court of those assets every year.
The FG can not withdraw money from these accounts with out a court order. They can not pay themselves. The court determines what the FG will be paid for this service.
If the minor has a parent, none of the assets may be used to pay for living expenses or medical care.
Millie, honestly! Your lack of basic understanding of how legal matters work astounds me! When one lawyer files legal papers, the opposing lawyer is served with copies. Jeffy had plenty of time to review who Allred proposed as the GAL.
As for the CONFIDENTIAL part of the screening- do a google search for yourself to see what it contains: a background check, personal references, financial statements, etc...

Neither parents nor their lawyers have to prove they are more competent than someone else to maintain guardianship of all aspects of their children and their children's lives. The qualifications of alternate guardians only comes into play once the parents are declared to have done something to invalidate themselves as guardians and just some small detail won't cut it.
Nadya is famous because of what she has done including giving birth to octoplets. Whether or not people are watching because they want to see the babies is immaterial if Nadya is the one on camera.
The "documentary" is described as being about Nadya's life, everything that led up to her having the octoplets. The children only have to be paid for time they spend "working". We have rarely seen all 14 children together. We have rarely seen all 8 babies together. Individually I doubt if any of them have been on camera for even an hour since birth. The only real issue so far is the first night the babies came home and it is Radaronline that got dinged for that not Nadya. Since then Jeff apparently consulted with the appropriate authorities to ensure that everything is in order.

Then at 10:34 p.m. (on this board) PS said: "YOU ARE ALL DIRTIED BY THIS LATEST ACT." No one knew what she was talking about until this morning.

Good Octorazzi, I am glad to hear that. We have a bunch of PC literate posters, but no Network Managers. They don't realize that they can be traced by their IP Address and feel that they can post what ever they want in anonymity. Also for those that think that no one at work knows that they are posting, you are wrong also. If your job site has a Network Manager, you are being monitored. As a former Network Manager, I suggest that you do not post at work. When the economy worsens (and it will), your job will be slated for elimination. If you do not have enough work to fill the day, the evidence of your postings will save your company the cost of your salary.
So beware. Please be respectful to each other. Like Millie and I, we have agreed to disagree. And please post on your own time. I have been involved in several investigations at work which resulted in employee terminations.

Let me answer your questions. Privacy rights do not apply to you. What you did was so inflammatory that when the FBI obtains your IP Address, whether you are here or in Canada, you will be prosecuted. People think that the internet is the Wild West, but it is not. Everyday, the US Congress passes laws to regulate it. Laws against defaming people were passed years ago.
We were discouraged from even using state computers for email except for emergencies. They don't like it because it is to easy to abuse the privilege, and I have heard from friends not to email them at work because they are cracking down on it. It makes it awkward for those who don't have personal computers. I think that was just a friendly warning from Duggie who sounds like she knows what she's talking about.

You are right Millie. When you are hired, you sign several contracts with you employer. One could be the HIPPA law in the case of a Health Care Worker, or a contract that states that you have not been arrested for a felony, or a contract that says that you read and will abide by the 'Empoyee Handbook', or that you will use your computer and the company's network for company related reasons only. These contracts all come with a wartning. Not honoring the contract will end in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

PS, I was thinking the same thing. While this person was posting in this forum, I could not stay here because of his/her foul mouth and the amount of hate that spewed from it. I tried to warn Octorazzi at the time, but as you said the crowd rallied around him/her like a group of teenagers and they eventually took on her hateful personna. Octorazzi's site started accumulating clicks and the site rated advertisers and started to make money. That is when I left this site and moved to the NS site.
Well, she eventually wore out her welcome and had to change her moniker, but the writing style was still there. She wore out her welcome again when she posted the baby pictures and so she changed her moniker again and moved over to the NS site. Octorazzi posters cried, "Don't go", but she had been crying all night and needed an apology from Octorazzi.
On the NS site, the posts started the rampent incline and on the NS site her mouth could even be fouler. I tried to warn Val, but she would not listen. Now Admin had the clicks and the money was rolling in on the NS side. And the fouler her posts became, the fouler the posts of the other members. Again like teenage boys, huddled in a corner in the boys locker room. And now that she was the leader of a group of people with like minds, the tenor of the group became more angry. All I could say was that she was a sucubus, spewing poison. I couldn't stand the negativity and I migrated back to the Octorazzi site.
And I had to laugh. The members would not let me leave their 'gang' or 'hood'. They kept goading me to take my concerns back to their site. Now I ask you, who would jump into a pond filled with a bunch of piranha? "My momma did not raise a fool".

That was another reason that I resented her rants. What does she have to do with our problems? She does not even live by the same laws. Simonae's website actually had a virus embedded in the code. My husband is a sys admin for an entertainment company. He discovered it before it could harm our home systems. The report to the isp was made and I've never accessed the site. I would encourage you to do the same. The more reports, the better. And now she has admitted to doing this in posts! Copy, paste and include in yet another report. I doubt my husband would want me using his skills to threaten people, as Simonae has. I don't think a loving wife should do that to her spouse. We've been together more than 25 years, so we must be doing something right.
The Nadya Sulemandotcom board does make it's income for the admins by spreading hate, along with building an online community, which is the big draw. Bullies are spawned from it. Sadly, it's more evidence that innocent children are making money for predators.
After I wrote posts concerning cyber bullies, I was interested to find my inbox full of warnings from well meaning people who wanted to save me from being a "target." So much for free speech being respected by those who scream for this freedom! Sure enough, someone else tried to send me a puter virus, which was caught and deleted by our systems. Even now, one of the posters on the Nadya Suleman board have asked if the admins see the hypocrisy of what they are doing. They find mentioning another website "distasteful", yet do the same thing over and over.
Valkyre, aka CAgrlz, has stated she is banned from this site. Interesting...
Btw, I wrote the posts on cyber bullies for a class I was taking. The final composition received an excellent grade and I deleted the posts. Many thanks to all who contributed.
The fact is, as long as there is money in it, this behavior will continue. The NS board thrives on this attitude towards Nadya Suleman. And quite frankly, they have my respect because they know how to run their business. The site is well moderated, as long as the attitude is anti-Nadya. They also swap recipes and do thorough research. They hit many other web blogs for the purpose of keeping up the rhetoric, but that is because they are very competitive. They'll argue with everyone, declare this a non-story, unless they fancy themselves journalists and come out with "breaking news", and do everything they can to sway public opinion because the negative scandal of it all will keep them in business. In today's lackluster economy, the admins of NadyaSulemandotcom are doing very well, to be sure. And there is job security, as long as they continue to be as shrewd as they have been. This is like the internet version of the Jerry Springer tv show. Or maybe Maury Povich. Even the ads are the same type you'd find on daytime tv.
Btw, this isn't just about Nadya. Even the sweet Conway Sextuplets are game. Anything to spin a buck.
Soon, GrandmaB will copy and paste this onto the NS board and it will be another amazing moment. I can just see it now, "Sharond is back!" "Let me at her!" "Flush out the vermin!" "She doesn't answer questions!" ROFLMAO!
I feel sorry for the babies. The sharks, vultures, con artists of all kinds will follow and feed off these poor little ones for the rest of their lives, regardless of who raises them. But at least, the Nadyasulemandotcom board is one of the better of the sharks, nipping at their heels.

Oh, thank you, Lise, for noting what my posts were about: Advice on how to deal with internet bullies. It was "spot on", as you called it. There are many websites with information about cyber bullies. Just Google or Yahoo, and you'll have quite a bit to wade through. Its a real problem. And GrandmaB, the internet was developed by the labs at NPL, Rand Corp, MIT and UCLA Berkeley. At the time they developed a series of gateways to link unlike mainframe computer systems together such as banking, east and west coast stock exchanges and governmental agencies. This was a point to point type of transmission. IBM owned them all and they were referred to as IBMGW. Later a packet switching protocol (Internet Protocol Suite) was developed to enable smaller pieces or packets of information to travel from router to router through out AT&T's WWW.
Personal Computers were developed in the late 70's. Tandy was the first PC. IBM thought that this was a fad, so they ignored them. Their cash cow was the Mainframe. Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak took the torch and developed the Apple Computer and a new operating system or GUI. Don’t know much about MAC. I’m an IBMer.
Meanwhile IBM realized that they were missing the boat so they created their first PC. DOS was the operating system at the time. It was cumbersome and personal computer users preferred the Apple Operating System. That’s where Bill Gates came in. He and Paul Allen developed software that was a Graphical User Interface or GUI for DOS. This made the IBM PC easier to use and the public moved away from MAC and towards PC’s with Microsoft Software as their operating systems. But GrandmaB, that was not my job. As I said, at the time, I was a mainframe systems person.. I did not get into LAN’s, WAN’s and MAN’s until the 90’s. And if I continue, you will have my whole resume in front of you. Duggie... better look again. First of all, UCLA is no where near Berkeley. Secondly, the internet was developed and created at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland. Look that one up in your Funk and Wagnell! I guess 46 years has diminised your mind. Please have anyone and everyone look this up.

He devised the html stuff and the idea of networking documents without having to use the same base system on all the computers. He worked at CERN. The contribution of the US military was that they had a large number of computers that could be linked this way. Of course, what they didn't want was that this new tool should become available to everyone. If the invention of html had been in the USA, they might have slapped restrictions on it. As it was, a Brit working in Switzerland was right out of their territory and he wanted the thing to stay freely available. He deserves more recognition for his achievements.
