They wanted to film the court hearing, that’s their right to ask. Since when are you judge and jury? They were denied and they are planning to film around the courts decision.
Octomom took her children on an outing to the museum with more than adequate supervision. That’s her right. Who are you to judge her?

To this day, they will not eat her cooking. And believe me, she is not the first mother who does not know how to cook or has any idea what good nutrition is. Should we take the children away from all the mothers who do not know how to cook? Ridiculous!
And for those of you who are not Southern Californians, we get discounts on the admission fees for our parks. We also can buy season tickets at a reasonable price. And this is not only to Disneyland, it includes Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm, Six Flags, etc. And please tell the thousands of Southern Californian families that visit these parks, that they are not spending their money wisely. That money should go to their kids’ college educations. If I want to take my children to an amusement park, this is my right. Who are you to judge me?

And then let’s talk about the tummy tuck. Have you seen what happens to your stomach after you have carried multiple fetuses. One fetus is enough. My son id 38 years old and I still bear the tell tale signs of my pregnancy. I do not begrudge her the tummy tuck.

Well, there is a person, still in the news, let’s call him ‘The King of Pop’, who never came clean about his plastic surgeries and drug use either. Now they’re reporting that he didn’t even have a nose left. And that’s not to include the rest of the accusations thrown at him. And what do we do? He overdoses on a drug that is not legal for “home use” and we give him the funeral of a king or president. What Hippocrates we are. And it is not yours or my business what procedures she has had done. It is her right.
And if she wants to conceive her children with IVF, it’s her right. I know that she had fantasies about a high birth delivery but again, she is not a medical professional and her doctor should have advised her that implanting 6 embryos was not good medical practice. But, he was looking at that pot of gold, too. The King of Pop’s doctor should have told him that using Propofol as a sleeping pill was not advisable. Did he? Evidentially not.
I admit, at first she did not handle the complexities of her situation correctly. One of those things that makes me say hmmm to all of this is Studio Teachers are paid by the production company, and therefore have an incentive to "look the other way" when it comes to filming times. Millie, I can't comment on any of the lawyers or guardians hired. I am just saying, none of us knows them well enough to say whether they are good or bad. Jeff Czech was just not the right lawyer. He did not file the proper paper work which lead to the fines that RO had to pay. It was evident that RO also did not understand California's child actor laws either. And Millie, do not think that I am on Octomom's side because I am not. What she did was unconscionable For the all mighty dollar, she took the chance of having either still born or disabled children. And then what would have happened if she died because of complications in her pregnancy. There would be from 14 to 6 children without a mother. She does not have a bad back: jumping on a trampoline holding kids, pushing pulling strollers and carrying a kid, carry pregnancies, roller coasters, bumper cars, wind surfing, etc. She obtained that money through fraud. Financial Aid and school loans to get IVF-- that is not the purpose for Fiancial Aid. Medi-cal paying for HER choice to have high risk pregnancies. She is earning $$$$$$ but still has kids on SSI, food stamps, medi-cal and considering WIC, plus all the money from her mom and dad. That just allows her more spending money for her nails, expensive clothes, starbucks and fast foods. Poor people don't live that way.
She now has the means to support her litter, so NO she is not entitled to any Welfare Monies.
There is a difference between a senior on a fixed income vs an opportunist with lots of money begging for donations and government programs.
All that matters is that people take a looky and they indeed are.

You see, California and the United States are welfare states. Our taxes go to pay for the poor. We limit that helping hand to the young and the elderly. We expect our middle aged and wealthy population to work and pay for these programs. As an example, President Obama would like the richest of Americans to pay for his new Medical Insurance Program. No, as a hard working, tax paying American, it is not right. But you see now I am at the other end of this stick and if it was not for these programs, I would be out in the street. Until you have to live off the public dole, be careful who you dis. It just might be your parents and/or grandparents.
I think while the octuplets are young, minimum wage is appropriate. When they start walking and do more than just laying/sitting around, then they can get a raise. Their mother needs money to raise them and all the children.

Too bad no one is considering what the contract would say. Nutsy is selling the "kids"... the contract is ABOUT the "kids"... any monetary amount in the contract is FOR the kids. Nutsy can't say what the "salary" of the tups will be because it will be written in black and white in the contract. If it was a show about Nutsy, then she would have to negotiate that price. But everyone knows... the show is about the tups and not her.

Oh, but we are the same. I can work, but I choose not to. I too am a computer tech like your husband. But, I am 'entitled' to these 'welfare' programs and with a little bit of budgeting, I can live a comfortable life, just like Octomom and not have to work to do it. Instead I can sit here all day and banter back and forth with what was an intelligent group of people.
The reason that I listed all the programs that I am entitled to was to bring everyone back to their senses. Before you call names and slam Octomom, think, were you the perfect mother? Didn't your child get into or do something that he shouldn't have? Every mother's worst nightmare. Did you receive a stimulus check that you really did not need. Did you return it to the government and say,"Please use it to lower the National Debt"? Are you going to take advantage of the $4,500.00 rebate. I am. When we have Universal Health Care are you going to say, "Oh no, keep the money, I can pay for my own"?
You must be honest. We all have skeletons in our closets. No, we do not care to air them out like Octomom did, but every celebrity has to contend with the paparazzi devulging their deepest secrets. And with today's technology, you can't even get undressed in a hotel room without someone plastering your naked body all over the internet.

Your point on minimum wage is certainly valid based on the "passive" nature of the Oct's acting abilities.
But how would you convince those who say that veiwing the Octuplets is the real draw behind the "clicks"?
If YOU, PS, were the Octuplets Agent, would you defer to Nadya's agent BECAUSE she HAS to provide for her family,[DUH...] or would you act in your clients best interest and argue that THEY are indeed the objects of our fascination, and therefore should be compensated as the STARS of the project?
You must understand that the children may disavow or contest contracts signed in their name by others while they were minors when they turn 18.

Duggie; I don't think you or the others understand that I also do not think Nadya is some wonderful paragon of virtue and think what she did was the right to do. I think it showed very poor judgement. My problem with this situation is just what you expressed so well in your earlier post. Yes, she did and still will make mistakes, but that does not give the internet predators the right to prey on her and her family. Every move she makes and every sentence she utters are scrutinized and criticized. That is not right and that is why I have and will defend her. I am thrilled her babies seem somehow but the grace of God to be healthy and it appears to me they are being well cared for. I don't know if she is a good mother or a bad mother but I see many examples of the things she gets villified for about me on a daily basis as I go about in public. I think much of what we hear has been exaggerated and even fabricated. We need to give her a chance to do the best she can in a difficult situation that is being made worse by all the criticism. And yes, many of the worst critics are from Canada but are not making that obvious in their postings.

Please explain to me how a person fills out student loan forms, assistance forms, etc...full well KNOWING that the monies are not going to be used for what they are intended for. How about the "workman's comp" issues? If she had such a bad back and was disabled...don't you think instead of working on IVF treatments---pregnancy wreaks havoc on a woman's back, she would have "saved"--(-hey, now THAT'S a new concept for her!) those monies to be used for future back problems ---MD appointments, or even to support herself while she was unable to work, etc.... Usually a disabled back doesn't resolve itself. Save this post and read it carefully so the "not too intellectual" posters can pull it up next January. From Nutjob's OWN mouth...and it is from a Dr. Phil interview with A-I-W....she said she IS going back to school for her degree. First she said she would do this in Aug/Sept this year. But A-I-W told her THAT would be too early because of the Octs. Nutjob THEN stated she ALREADY spoke to the director/or whomever of the school/college and "special" arrangements were in place so she could take the Octs. with her. I do believe she mentioned Jan 2010. Who wants to start a betpool that Nutjob NEVER goes back to school??? She has no intentions of ever working an everyday job like the rest of us have to do...and personally, I think the few that support her are the ones that ARE like her and are just too lazy to go out and get a job like the rest of us that have to do in order to support ourselves and our families. I also think that these "supporters" just don't like the fact that WE are making a big deal about Nutjob in order to hopefully ensure that this will not create a world where other lazy young girls out there don't start mass producing/committing fraud in hopes of getting a free ride in life...while their innocent kids suffer from not being able to get the time, support, discipline, consistency from a parent.
