Terrell Thomas camp set for June 23 at Chaffey College

Rancho Cucamonga High School graduate Terrell Thomas of the New York Giants is holding his annual football camp on June 23 at Chaffey College. Fresh off signing a four-year, $28 million contract in March with the Super Bowl champions, the cornerback entering his fifth season in the NFL will host campers ages 7 through 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Chaffey College football field. Visit Thomas’ website, www.terrellthomas24.com to register by June 14. The cost is $30 per person, $40 with a camp photo. A session for ages 7-10 will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and another session for ages 11-14 will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Thomas tore his ACL in a preseason game last year, shelving the third-year starter the entirety of the Giants’ Super Bowl season. The USC product has completed his rehabilitation and said he is ready to return to form… Thomas tore the same ACL in college but didn’t have any complications with his recovery. Along with Thomas, several NFL players will be present at the camp to help provide instruction, including Ryan Clady (Denver Broncos), Justin Tuck (New York Giants), Orlando Scandrick (Dallas Cowboys), Gerald Alexander (New York Jets) and Steve Smith (Philadelphia Eagles).
