Rancho Cucamonga vs. North on TV Friday night

The lone football game featuring a local team scheduled this season to be broadcast on Prime Ticket pits Rancho Cucamonga against Riverside North on Friday. The game between the No. 5 team in the CIF-SS Inland Division and a North team ranked 10th in the Central Division will be televised on delay, beginning at 10:30 p.m.

Both of these teams figure to be in the mix for their respective CIF championships, though North is a bit more difficult to get a read on due to its brutal schedule. Rancho Cucamonga is 3-1, its lone loss a 24-23 defeat at the hands of Anaheim Servite three weeks ago. The Cougars’ come-from-ahead loss on Sept. 1 is becoming more of an eye sore seeing as it is Servite’s lone win in three attempts this season.

Since losing a 13-point halftime lead to Servite, Rancho Cucamonga has defeated Pasadena Muir and Miller, which have a combined record of 1-6, by a combined score of 99-14. North beat Colton in a blowout, but has since been on the wrong end of lopsided scores against Mission Hills Alemany and Perris Citrus Hill.
