BASEBALL

2. Kaiser (6-2) Cats open Sunkist League play against hot Summit team.
3. San Dimas (7-2) It took Bonita 12 innings to beat Saints last week.
4. Los Osos (6-1) Grizzlies league frontrunner after beating Glendora.
5. Diamond Bar (7-1) Previously unranked Brahmas shooting up the charts.
6. Don Lugo (8-2) Will anybody challenge Lugo in Mt. Baldy League?
7. Carter (7-4) Lions have already beaten Upland and Rancho Cucamonga.
8. Upland (9-2) Hoping to avoid 0-2 start in Baseline League.
9. Ayala (6-3) There could be plenty of parity in Sierra League.
10. Summit (8-4) Winners of Cougar Classic face league foe Kaiser next.

SOFTBALL
1. Chino (15-2) Could be smooth sailing after two wins over Don Lugo.
2. Etiwanda (5-1) Eagles open Baseline League play with Rancho Cucamonga.
3. Chino Hills (10-4) Huskies’ Arizona-bound pitcher quit team last week.
4. Los Osos (9-1) Wins over Ayala and Glendora came by average of 9 runs.
5. Ayala (7-2) Lopsided 8-1 loss to Los Osos was a little surprising.
6. Bonita (6-3) Bearcats are only gaining steam after an 0-2 start.
7. Rancho Cucamonga (8-3) Hopes to compete with Los Osos, Etiwanda.
8. Don Lugo (3-3) There’s no shame in losing a pair to league foe Chino.
9. Pomona Catholic (3-3) Pacers scored 10 runs in 1st inning of league play.
10. San Dimas (6-5) Saints have been up and down against tough schedule.
