Picking this week’s football winners . . .

Got both games right from last night to improve to 110-31 on season.

Lots of games on tap tonight, so here goes . . .

Upland 36, Eitwanda 21 – The Highlanders used the off week to get their many injured players healthy. I will go with them.

Chino Hills 24, Los Osos 14 – The Grizzlies are really coming on and I like the momentum they have and the way they have delivered in close games. Chino Hills has a few more playmakers though. A big equalizer though would be if Huskies starter Caleb Arreola can’t go.

Rancho Cucamonga 27, Damien 14 – The Spartans have a great back in Dylan Thigpen but the Cougars just have more weapons so I have to pick them.

Charter Oak 28, Chino 14 – Chino is 5-0 but the Cowboys haven’t seen the caliber of opponents that Charter Oak has. For that reason I have to go with Charter.

Diamond Ranch 27, West Covina 21 – Best game of the night in the Hacienda League. Have to go Panthers for their fifth win in a row.

Claremont 28, Bonita 24 – The biggie in the Palomares League tonight. I’ll go with Claremont just because of the Duy Tran-Sampson factor. But a BNonita win wouldn’t surprise me either.

Diamond Bar 28, Ayala 14 – I honestly think the Bulldogs have talent so I have no idea why they aren’t putting them up in the win column. Have to go Brahmas.

Chaffey 36, Ontario 14 – Mikey Dean. Enough said.

San Dimas 38, Wilson 14 – Lesser teams than San Dimas have beaten Wilson already this year. So this one isn’t hard to pick.

Summit 27, Grand Terrace 14 – The SkyHawks are bracing for a game with Kaiser. If they don’t get too far ahead of themselves this one should be no problem.

Kaiser 34, Colton 10 – This one won’t be competitive. Colton had something very special in the Harold Strauss days. What has happened there?

Carter 32, Citrus Valley 10 – The Lions have lost the last two. They’ll get back on track here.

Redlands 56, Eisenhower 7 – Blow out city here.

Redlands East Valley 63, Miller 7 – Blow out city II

Bloomington 17, Fontana 10 – Two fledgling programs and someone has to win. It’s homecoming for Bloomington so I’ll go with them but this could go either way.

Ontario Christian 56, Western Christian – The Knights can name the score. enough said.
