Alta Loma 28, Ontario 14 – It was be easy to let sentiment get in the way and pick Ontario whose head coach John Kusleika and assistant Joe Szczepanski coached at Alta Loma with Szczepanski doing so just last year. But I’m taking the Braves. The basis for that is scores against common foes. Alta Loma lost to Don Lugo by a slim 31-28 while Ontario lost by a more decisive 54-27. Both lost o Colony with Alta Loma doing so 52-27 and Ontario getting shut out – 46-0.
Carter 48, Miller 7 – The Lions can name the score. They have had a lot of those this year. The Citrus Belt League playoff picture is a complete jumble and Carter is part of that picture, No way they mess up this week.
