Wide receiver Grant Porter of Upland High school was sidelined before the season even started with a broken foot.

But the speedy senior has been cleared to play and could see action in Friday night’s Baseline League game against Damien.

Porter, who has committed to Washington State, caught 23 passes for 366 yards last season as a junior and was expected to be a main weapon in the Highlanders offensive arsenal this season.

The Highlanders close out the regular season next week against Rancho Cucamonga.
