Rancho Cucamonga senior baseball standout Noah Kennedy has committed to NCAA Division III Lakeland College (Wis.).

He visited the school a week ago and like what it had to offer.

“My body and my game aren’t ready enough to play at a Division I or II level,” he said. “I liked the academic situation there and the environment was what I was looking for so I thought it was the best fit for me.”

Kennedy plans to major in business/sports management or marketing and likes the possibilities for internships in that area, given the number of professional sports franchises.

Kennedy also took a trip to Presentation College in Aberdeen, S.D. on the same trip and was also considering Westmont, San Diego Christian and Providence College as well as the possibility of going to Grand Canyon just as a student.
