Claremont water polo standout Bruno Snow decides on a college

Bruno Snow, Claremont

Harvard has always been the top college choice for Claremont water polo standout Bruno Snow, even going back to grade school. Well it’s official . . . that’s where he is headed.

“It’s been the top school on my list since I was 6 or 7,” he said. “I just didn’t know if it was an attainable goal so I didn’t really allow myself to focus on that. So I am pretty happy about the opportunity to go there.”

Snow, a four-year varsity standout, was considering a number of other schools including Stanford, UCLA, Brown and Johns Hopkins but he liked Harvard so much he really didn’t have a second choice.

Snow hasn’t “officially” been accepted but has received the customary “likely” letter that that is probably coming soon.

Snow helped the Wolfpack to a CIF championship as a sophomore in 2014. He has scored 116 goals this season and 388 in his impressive career. He also plays for the Foothill Water Polo Club.

He welcomes the change of scenery that comes with moving to the East Coast.

“It is definitely be a big adjustment. I’ll have to get used to cold weather and a change of seasons,” he said.

Snow is undecided on a major.
