Versatile Webb football standout Apollo Thomas will play close to home at NCAA Division III Pomona-Pitzer.

Thomas excelled as both wide receiver and defensive back for the Gauls. (4-6) He had 21 catches for 425 yards and six touchdowns and racked up 137 tackles and 14.5 sacks on defense.

He was also considering UC Davis as well as some smaller schools on the East coast.

The Pomona-Pitzer football program enjoyed quite the resurgence last year. The Sagehens finished 6-3 overall in 5-2 in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
