After spending her freshman year of college at University of Hawaii, Parker returned to Southern California, competing for Cal State Dominguez Hills and winning a national championship as part of the Toros’ 4×400 meter relay team.

Parker has been an assistant coach at CSU-Dominguez Hills and at Carson High School, where she served on her father’s coaching staff.
