"Block Party" at Ontario Mills to benefit American Red Cross
Several businesses in the Ontario Mills shopping center have collaborated with a national haircutting chain to raise funds for those affected by the recent hurricanes.
The "block party" style event is being co-sponsored by Sport Clips Haircuts with the intention to raise funds for national relief efforts provided by the American Red Cross toassist displaced hurricane victims of the 2008 Hurricane Season.
The event is free but attendees are being encourage to donate.
The free event will feature everything from free food to musical entertainment.
2007 Freestyle Motocross World Champion Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg will sign autographs and attendees can register to win four tickets to the Los Angeles County Fair and the LG World Championships of Freestyle Motocross.
For those interested in extreme sports BMX Professional Bikers Mike Saavedra, Kyle O'Hara and Dustin Flick perform stunts on two Quarter Pipes and a huge Jump Box. The trio will also be signing autographs.
There will not be a shortage of activities for the kids with two bounces houses and face painting, there will also be a cartoonist on hand, and variousl games and activities.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to enter various contest prizes at the event from opening day tickets for the Los Angeles Kings, season pass haircuts from Sport Clips, and the Virgin Megastore will be giving away music related gifts.
