Enjoy flying and art? Well then you're in store for a treat if you're flying out of LA/Ontario International Airport  in the next couple of months.

Officials at the airport have announced, in partnership with the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs two new exhibits on display. The exhibits are featured in 12 display cases and are collections from various artists. The exhibits are located on the second floor of Terminal 2 and 4 and will be on display through Jan. 4, 2009.

"Miniatures are BIG" found at the Terminal 2 is a collection of 130 whimsical and eclectic miniature buildings and monuments. The exihibit was curated by Susan Subtle Dintenfass with the help of architects David Weingarten and Lucia Howard.

Another exihibit, also curated by Dintenfass, is titled "Karyl Sisson: Everday Objects d'Art," is located at Terminal 4.  Sisson has transformed feminine objects into works of art.

The exhibit is part of a $1.6 million public art program to educate and entertain the traveling public.
